Oriolo Romano is a town of approx. 3,800 inhabitants in the province of Viterbo, 450 meters above sea level. It is 37 km from the provincial capital and 56 km from the capital. The municipality is part of the “Association of virtuous municipalities” and of the “authentic villages of Italy”. For the results achieved in waste management and collection, the municipality has been recognized by Legambiente as “Riciclone Municipality” since 2010.The municipal area is part of the Regional Natural Park of Bracciano – Martignano and extends over the Sabatini Mountains, a hilly area rich in coppice and high trunk woods, particularly chestnut, Turkey oak and beech.
